My name is Bob, and I'm the proprietor of Sanctus Mercantile. Thank you for visiting.

Sanctus Mercantile began as an outgrowth of my spiritual journey. It is rooted in faith, integrity, and a desire to offer quality Catholic and devotional items at reasonable prices. I'm still building and improving the site, so I appreciate your patience as things continue to grow and evolve.

This shop was never intended to become a large commercial enterprise. My hope is simply to offer meaningful products that may help others in their spiritual journey while keeping the business modest, honest, and approachable.

I was raised in a Catholic household, but spent many years away from my faith. Over time — through recovery, prayer, and the influence of good people — I gradually found my way back. Along the journey, I discovered voices and communities that helped reignite my faith, including Father Mike Schmitz and the wonderful Sisters at the Children of Mary convent near my home.

With my wife's help, Sanctus Mercantile is my small way of sharing that renewed faith with others.

You will not find luxury pricing here. I believe beautiful and meaningful devotional items should remain accessible. Whether a rosary costs five dollars or one hundred dollars matters far less than the prayer offered with it. My goal is to cover my costs first, then make a modest profit to reinvest in a larger inventory, supplies, and equipment.
